Bobbi Jo is a Licensed Master of Social Work who is working towards her Licensed Independent Social Work Clinical Practice by completed supervision. She grew up in the small town of Travelers Rest, South Carolina. After high school she attended the University of South Carolina Upstate where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology. After working two years for the Department of Social Services Bobbi Jo decided to pursue her Masters in Social Work through the University of Southern California's Virtual Online Program. Prior to her joining Healing Solutions Bobbi Jo worked in the Medical field via Hospital Case Management, Home Health, and Hospice work. Bobbi Jo works with all ages and backgrounds, her passion is for the LGBTQ+ community. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered, Solution Focused, Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to invoke self awareness and provide positive coping skills.
When not at Healing Solutions Bobbi Jo can be found supporting her daughter's extracurricular activities: softball, cheerleading, and gymnastics; or playing with her dog. Bobbi Jo loves the beach, board games, cards, and playing her favorite online game: Hearthstone. Her dream is to open up a small practice at the beach after her child has graduated highschool and starts her adult life.
