Jack Evert, LMSW
Jack Evert works primarily with teens and young adults. He specializes in helping his clients find a positive sense of identity and healthy outlets to express that identity. He also provides family therapy for adolescents and their caretakers. Jack is especially passionate about helping people with LGBTQIA+ identities, Cluster B Personality Disorders, ADHD, trauma histories, or those experiencing thoughts of self-harm and suicide.
Jack often uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. He holds his LMSW and is currently working towards his LISW credentials. He earned his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Previously, he worked at a psychiatric hospital, where he provided in-patient crisis counseling and group therapy to a diverse population.
In his free time, Jack enjoys spoiling his partner and pets (two cats and a dog). He is an avid gamer and can be found playing DnD, the newest FPS, or overly-complicated board games. He also enjoys traveling, binging tv shows, and cooking.
